Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, Worthington Industries was founded in 1955 and has over 84 facilities in 11 countries and employs approximately 10,000 people.

Worthington became a public company in 1968 and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol WOR on April 19, 2000.
