Worthington Industries to Host 21st Century Manufacturing Task Force Hearing

Nov 12, 2012 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Worthington Industries, Inc. (NYSE: WOR) announced today that it will host the Ohio House 21st Century Manufacturing Task Force for a public hearing on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, from 1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at 905 Dearborn Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43085.

The objective of the task force and hearing is to facilitate discussion and interaction between Ohio's manufacturing community, public policy makers and interested parties regarding strategies to improve Ohio's manufacturing competitiveness. Recommendations from this hearing, along with six others conducted throughout the state, will be presented to the Speaker of the House by Dec. 31, 2012.

Hearing Schedule:
1:30-3:15 p.m. - Welcoming remarks from John McConnell, Chairman and CEO of Worthington Industries and presentations from a panel of Ohio manufacturing executives
3:15-4:00 p.m. - Presentations from a panel on higher education
